Catherine and Andrew had told us about the lovely beach at Beadnell so we headed there today. They weren’t wrong. Andrew wanted some exercise today so he ran from Craster to Beadnell whilst the rest of us went by car. We parked the car near the beach and had a lovely walk. James really enjoyed digging holes and building castles on the beach and Harris had a brilliant time running about, going in the sea and greeting every dog she saw – and there were a lot! We met up with Andrew who then said he would also run back to Craster.
When he was back and freshened up we walked to the Jolly Fisherman in Craster and enjoyed lunch overlooking the sea. Then it was a trip to the local play area and a visit to the kipper shop on the walk back.
